We took the kids horse riding at the nearby stables and they absolutely loved it! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making it a great experience for the whole family. The scenery was breathtaking, with rolling hills and picturesque trails to explore. It was the perfect way to connect with nature and create lasting memories.
For dads, it would be great to have a small outdoor play area for the kids.

Loved the private entrance, city views, and the fact that I could do my laundry. And the free WiFi was a bonus.
Oh, and who needs an instruction manual when using the washing machine? So confusing, I just pressed random buttons and hoped for the best.

The private bathroom with a bath or shower at Mushroom Cottage was a total treat! It made me feel like I was at a luxurious spa, indulging in some well-deserved self-care after a long day of exploring. As a business traveler, this was exactly what I needed to unwind and recharge.
Personally, I found the size of the room a tad small. But hey, that's just me!

Breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.

I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of the cottage. The soft floral wallpaper and vintage furniture made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The communal areas were very accessible, with sturdy handrails and well-lit hallways, perfect for senior people like myself.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people would be for the children working there to be more attentive and helpful. It would have been wonderful to have some assistance with my luggage and maybe a friendly smile or two during my stay.
